A story about smuggling salt and the love story between a chief salt smuggler's daughter and a worker from an anti-smuggling camp. She got separated from her family and was saved by the son of a salt merchant. She then finds out that her parents were hung at the city tower and displayed publicly as a punishment of salt smuggling, demonstrated by the one she loved. This love then becomes hatred. To repay her saviour, she starts to work in his company and the guy starts to have feelings for her.

I'm not a big fan of ancient drama... and the cast in this one doesn't appeal to me... hopefully it wouldn't be that boring. But with this kind of love/hatred storylines, it usually have the same endings.Labels: 2009, dramas, Sweetness in the Salt

Blogger has finally, after 4 months, unlocked my http://tvbmadness.blogspot.com blog... so everything has been moved back to this URL... and the http://tvbmadnessv2.blogspot.com would be used as a backup just in case of any problems arising in the future...

Happy New Year!!!
Welcome to 2009, another year has past and I hope that everyone is glad the year is over and excited for the new beginning!!
2008 has been a great year with some excellent series like Moonlight Resonance, and 82 episode series of The Gem of Life. Hopefully 2009 will be just as good, if not better. It looks like 2009 would be a year of sequels, with many sequels made in 2008 ready to be aired in 2009 like "Just Love 2", "A Pillowcase of Mystery 2", "Burning Flame 3" and "E.U" the latest edition to "The Academy" and "On the First Beat" series.
2008 has also been a year of many downs in the world and the HK entertainment industry. With the world financial crisis, the passing away of Lydia Shum, I'm sure that everyone feels the same way I do when its good to see it end, and welcome the new beginnings!!
I hope all of you have a great New Year, with many resolutions to be done and things to look forward to. Sorry for the lack of posts this year, very hard to juggle my commitments to uni, work and Tvb Madness!!! but I will try to do better in this new year and bring the latest up to date info on TVB series!!!
